Furniture Refinishing

Your client may have some existing furnishings that you want to use, but have become blemished or have an unsuitable finish.  As refinishers, we have worked on historic items as well as ones just out of the packing crate.  In addition to standard stain and lacquer finishes, we are fluent with pigmented finishes and employ an array of glazing, shading, and toning techniques to provide a full, rich appearance.

Upholstery

Upholstered items with outmoded or worn textiles can be easily re-tasked into a new theme with alternate fabric and treatments.  Our workroom regularly upholsters antiques as well as more modern furniture - from foundation spring-work and padding through to special cushions and final treatments.  C.O.M. is expected or select from our textile vendors.  Short turnaround times allow you to get everything right ... and done on time.

Customizable Vintage

You may be looking for some unique pieces to complete your client's design objectives or to establish a signature accent that incorporates your design elements.  We maintain an assortment of vintage seating and occasional pieces selected for unique qualities of design and craft.  Presented "in-the-rough" they can be modified, finished, and upholstered to suit your specifications - distinctive and functional statements most decidedly NOT from a catalog.
